The 13 hour rule is simple, it takes between 8-12 hours to clear glycogen storage from the liver and muscles therefore we wait 13 hours after our last meal/smoothie or juice to begin eating again (water can be drank 24/7 tho). Heres a example if my last time eating was 7pm then I can start eating again at 8am easy peasy 123easy. This process is magnified if you have sex right before bed or have a nice but short extra workout right before bed.

Plants have starch we have glycogen so we must try our best to clear this from our Liver and Skeletal Muscle so we can clear blood glucose and oxidize triglycerides. This is very important for Eumelanin Dominant people to understand, Fast Twitch Muscle stores higher amounts of glycogen than Slow Twitch Muscle and since Eumelanin Dominant people have more Fast Twitch muscle we have a higher potential to store more Glycogen which must be dealt with to control Blood Sugar.
